Types of carbide nozzles There are two main types of carbide nozzles for drill bits. One is lined, and one is not. Threadless carbide nozzles are mainly used for tooth wheel drill bits, and threaded carbide nozzles are mostly used for PDC drill bits. Depending on the handling tool wrench, PDC drills have 6 types of threaded nozzles:

2. Plum blossom type threaded nozzle

5. Y-shaped (3 slots/slot) threaded nozzle
